I've been looking for an excuse to do something Street Fighter themed for a while, when I saw this week's lunchcrunch was Appliances Doing Battle I knew this was the time! I imagined a washing machine throwing a wet-sweater-hadoken at a refrigerator. Initially based on Ryu's character I realized the appliance would work better as a red "Kenmore". I combined the Dyson vacuum and M. Bison as the opponent. 


I enjoyed the challenge to translate some of the character designs to these inanimate appliances, like putting a yellow shirt on the Kenmore as his "hair". I decided not to push it too far though I chose to use human arms and legs for some familiarity. For M. Dyson I thought that orange ball would be perfect to set the cap on flanked by those bitchin' shoulder pads. Tint some parts red, add a cape and call it a day.
